I'm Amanda and I'm the founder of Soul Society Yoga. Soul Society is a community of people from all walks of life, looking to explore the mind/body connection and find a more harmonious way of living while enjoying the ride.
I began practicing yoga in the early 2000's and became an instructor 15 years later. Music and Mother Nature are what inspire me most and I try to incorporate both into my classes. I feel most at home outdoors or in the water and love bringing the practice of yoga out into nature.
My formal studies have included Hatha Yoga, Buddhist Meditation, Kundalini, Yoga Nidra, and Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga. In my classes, you can expect a combination of sacred stillness interwoven with challenging, yet gratifying, Vinyasa style movement, with a bit of lighthearted humor thrown in for good measure.
Every day that I continue on this path, I am humbled and grateful for this opportunity to share the practice that has changed my own life in so many ways. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your practice!
